What is SYNCHRO SPACE?

The aim of the hub's activities is to help cities solve current problems and challenges with the assistance of innovative startup projects and teams of various specialists.

We conduct urban hackathons, unique programs, and events and implement the best foreign urban development practices.

Since 2018, we have already cooperated with 12 cities and OTGs of Ukraine: Zhytomyr, Rivne, Ternopil, Bila Tserkva, Myrnograd, Chervonograd, Kramatorsk, Vinnytsia, Kyiv, Zaporizhzhia, Chuguiv, Gostomelska, and Lozivska OTGs. In addition, we have the support of UNDP, the Embassy of the Netherlands, and other international partners.

HOW IT WORKS:

Victory in the hackathon

SoftUUp team of experts participated in the SYNCHRO SPACE urban hackathon, with the support of experienced mentors developed a project to solve a specific task from the city of Bila Tserkva, and was selected by the city as the winner for the further implementation of the solution!

Implementation
of the project

The project has been finalized and implemented. The startup has received an order from the city and funding from the city budget and BOORYAK curatorial group, that was the initiator of the project.

Results

The city received an innovative solution that became its calling card.
The hackathon-winning team received the city as a customer,
as well as extensive information support and PR.

Impact

The Living Sculpture Project implemented at the Bila Tserkva has become a magnet for tourists. This contributes to the development of local businesses and, accordingly, the flow of funds into the local budget. The team was able to scale the project in collaboration with other cities.
