SYNCHRO SPACE!

The SYNCHRO SPACE – project is a vivid illustration of how one person's idea turned into a project that inspires and unites thousands of people. Alissa Ban'kovskaya – is the author and creator of the SYNCHRO SPACE project, which unites the hearts of people from different cities, countries, statuses and specialties, around one idea - to improve people's lives in cities through the creation and implementation of innovative solutions.

During this period, we held 3 unique events, combining a replete Lectorium and a special Urban Hackathon, where: architects, designers, urban planners, IT developers, engineers, ecologists, sociologists and other professionals, worked together on specific tasks from cities and developers:

• November 2-3, 2019 – SYNCHRO SPACE: smart cities in Ukraine
  
  

At all these events, we brought together outstanding innovators of our time, who were happy to share their knowledge and experience with the audience of our Lectorium. In total, about 30 interesting speeches were held on the following topics: "synchronization of the city, people, nature and technologies", "redesign and innovation for cities", "cities of the future: visions, strategies and smart management", "eco-technologies and energy efficient solutions for cities", "urban technology, smart technology in architecture and design". Enjoyable and valuable to realize that we have brought together successful entrepreneurs and the coolest experts who have become mentors of the urban hackathon and are ready to share and support our participants. After all, nothing unites so much as a common goal and goals.

During 2019, we signed memorandums of cooperation with seven Ukrainian cities. Four discussion panels were held with the participation of city representatives and experts, where the most resonant issues regarding the future development of cities were discussed. We thank Victoria Podgorna for support, initiative and joint cooperation with the cities of Ukraine. Special thanks to the representatives of the cities: Serhii Sukhomlyn, Vitalii Pogosian, Мaksym Bakhmatov, Mykola Kostrytsya, Yurii Bezborodov, Serhiy Gemberg, Sergey Postyvuy, Yurii Deineka, Denys Oshurko for openness to innovation and active participation in urban hackathons from SYNCHRO SPACE.

We are pleased with the activities of our guests and partners, as well as the ideas, projects and desire of hackathon participants to influence the development of Ukrainian cities. As a result of holding three urban hackathons, we have: 26 innovative ideas and projects. In 2018-2019, hackathon teams developed solutions for 7 cities: Bila Tserkva, Vinnytsia, Zhytomyr, Kramatorsk, Kyiv, Rivne, Ternopil and 3 locations in Kyiv: UNIT.city, VDNH, Urban Space 500:

• "Giggle" – modernization and interactivation of the fountain at the VDNG (Anton Bauman, Viktoriia Boyko, Lev Kormych, Yuliia Kilevaya)
  
  
• "Open communication platform" near Rivne - effective interaction between government and citizens – (Khmilnyk Olena)
  
  
• "SPACE" – space for entertainment and recreation of citizens for Zhytomyr (Dmytrishen Iurii, Gutsalenko Oksana, Nadiia Borozenets, Viktoriia Boyko, Yevdokymenko Kseniya, Yanushkevych Anastasiia)
  
  
• "ART space" for Kramatorsk - association of citizens with the help of music and art (Anton Bauman, Kilova Julia, Molchanova Tanya)
  
  
• "GreenWaweApp" – optimization of public transport traffic for Rivne (Brovarnyk Serhiy, Serha Andriy, Semenets Artem, Starikov Oleg)
  
  
• "ЕCО-park" – innovation-ecological park and space for rest, work and leisure of citizens for the city of Ternopil (Mykhailo Sheremet, Dasha Antonenko, Valentina Bilan, Maria Tokar, Kateryna Vereshchak, Shvets Oleksandr))
  
  
• "Living sculptures in Bila Tserkva" – living sculptures and a tourist AR city guide for Bila Tserkva. (Oleg Glovatsky, Anton Dembitsky, Kirill Beldyaga). The project was implemented in 2019 and has the prospect of scaling in other cities of Ukraine and the world.
  
  
• "Catch MAP" – cartographic application for finding interesting city locations in Kyiv (Ilya Rastvorov, Khrystyna Gavrylenko, Karina Obramenko, Dmytro Selyukov)
  
  
• "Eco Scanner"- online air and water quality monitoring system for Zhytomyr (Artem Kovalenko, Igor Stepanenko)
  
  
• "Accident Map" for Kyiv - a solution that will increase road safety and reduce mortality, as well as allow you to control the response of local authorities to certain problems and get preventive recommendations based on analytics (Alyona Tsoi, Olena Andrusenko, Mykola Khramchenko, Stanislav Klymenko)
  
  

Also, we would like to mention the projects: "Art Portal" (Olena Gabuda, Vitaliy Gabuda, Mykola Masyuk, Volodymyr Buka), "Tourist AR city guide" from the Softuup team and "Emotional navigation" (Anton Bauman, Vitaliy Ilnitsky). The guests of the event liked these projects and have prospects for development and further implementation.
